easy combo breakers

I have a very important problem
the easy combo breakers
i know that in order to activate it, i have to hold down and start on both sides, but the game comes with the free play on, and when i push the player 2 start this takes me to 2 player screen over and over again.
i tried almost all the combinations with the dip switches but it wont work, also i cant use the COIN buttons.
for example when i press F7 or F8, the coin system doesnt work.
anybody can solve my problem?

With U64emu it's not possible to put the easy combo breakers code into the single player mode because, as you have said, there is no coin button and the game is set on freeplay, I guess the only way you could do it is to use the MAME version of KI but that seriously isn't recommended.

The only advise I can give you is to practise your combo breakers normally by finding someone online who is willing to train with you (from time to time I help people but I have no arcade stick at the moment so I haven't played KI for a while), doing so will make you a better player in the end since you won't be relying on a "easy" version of the game.

How do you find someone to play KI2 with "online"? I've wanted badly to play against someone in KI2 to see if my skills are good or bad.

But there are bad news,KI2 online is only possible at
the moment with mame and you need one of the
older netplay versions of mame.

That is the reason why it runs so slow online.

KI1 works better online but it is desync from time to time
and only playable with a very very low ping.

I'm from germany and i would like to play KI online but most of the people who have interest in KI online are too far away from me so my best servers on kalleira are horrible for them
