problem1:
hi people. I recently came across this gem and started playing it, tho i have a few problems and need some help please,
the game runs fine in u64emu311, but the problem is that i cannot assign in-game movements to the d-pad on my joypad. its almost impossible pulling off moves on an analogue stick.
I have a saitek p2500 joypad. it looks very similar to the playstation 2 joypad. I just wish I could assign the d-pad, not the analogue stick.
problem 2:
I also have the latest mame32. the only problem with running the game here is that it runs fine until as soon as a fight is about to start when the camera is zooming in or out of the action, the game crashes and returns to desktop. and the irony is that in mame32 i am able to use the d-pad.
sorry i made it so long winded. please help!

If you cannot turn the analog function of your pad off then you can do nothing against this problem. A few pc pads don't work right with the u64emu.

*fatality music* Dun Dun DUNNNNNNN ... I Appear Problem #1: First try calibrating your joypad in the control panel. If that doesn't help, try turning off the analog function if your pad has an off button for the analog function. I have had this problem with a similar pad (an axispad) which also looks very similiar to a playstation joypad. With some joypads you cannot configure the d-pad in ultra64. Buy a psx+n64 or psx converter. Me and oliver use the boom USB converter. I got mine for $11.00 from www.jandaman.com.

Try to switch usb ports too.. if that doesn't work you should do what I do, I'll write a little tutorial: Step 1 - Unplug the Pad. Step 2 - Find a nice open area with a big wall. If you can't find a wall, a wooden surface, or even concrete would work. Step 3 - Draw your hand back (with the pad in-hand) Step 4 - BASH it against the sidewalk until the prongs fly out and the buttons go flying. Step 5 - Bash the nuts out of your pad until it explodes, then go buy a converter psx
