I know this is off topic but couldn't find anywhere to post a question like this, much help would be appreciated...
Only get decent framerates if I turn the audio off - I think it's because of the specialized sound hardware the mk2 arcade machines had. Anyone know how to get around this?

i recommend for run mk games use the command line version win or dos. it's faster than mame32.

rcp,
any plans of porting these programs to linux or do you know a way to wine them and make them work KI2 is my favorite arcade game i think i spent like 1000's of dollars on the game in competing in my local arcade. lol i can do like a 210 hit Jago finishing move people would usually just sit there and watch it cause i always, now the chance to be able to play with on my linux machine would be awesome.
