Hi everyone...I'm happy to find other people who even care about KI
i hope someone can help me. I'm normally a mac user but i wanted to play ki on my old pc...and i can't get it to even start! I double click the u64emu icaon and nothing happens. I've read about wrappers,(do i even need one?) so i tried it and it keeps saying it it missing a .DLL or "the U64EMU.exe file is linked to missing exoprt MFC42.DLL:6571" I don't know squat about programming either (do i need to to run this?) If someone could please help me i would be forever greatful. I've been trying to get this to work ever since Kiame first started, and i don't want to give up now. thnx

Hi there killbot welcome to RCP's forum I haven't seen an error like that before so i guess theres more to it than one would guess so lets try a few things. 1. Download a u64emu fresh from the link below (use save target as or a download manager) caesar.logiqx.com/zips/emus/multi/u64emu/u64emu305_dist.zipExtract it and run it! If the same error occurs please provide some system specs as you have mentioned your pc is old (i'm thinking something like a first gen pentium ) What OS are you running?

yep..... same error message,it is an old winbook XL and it is a pentium MMX, but, i tried the ver. you gave me on a different comp. and it worked great! (even on a 500mgz pentium.) the sound was alittle poppy, but i'll worry about that later. thnx for your help. I'm gonna also try a dll fixer program thingy that was conviniently on the top of the forum ;D ps. is there a way to get the sound samples from KI1? I use reason, and the sound fx would be fun to toy with.
